Each week BusinessDesk and NZ Herald’s Cooking the Books podcast tackles a different money issue. Today, it’s how to find the side business income that fits your life. Hosted by Frances Cook.
We all know that life is getting more expensive by the day, and while cutting expenses is one solution to the problem, making more money also helps a lot.
We’ve discussed ways to ask for a raise on our podcast before, but sometimes, it doesn’t feel like an option right now.
Maybe you’ve gotten a raise, but you can still do it with more cash. Or maybe your boss says no, and you’re not eligible to look for a new job elsewhere.
Whatever the reason, a side hustle can fill that void.
If you’re an entrepreneur, they can even be a way to test out career changes or business ideas so you can one day work for yourself.
For the latest podcast, I interviewed financial advisor Tracy Hemingway, also known as DebtFreeDiva.
