Tesla recalls over 300,000 vehicles in US over taillight issue | Business News

Tesla is recalling about 321,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to potential problems with taillights, according to a document released Saturday.

The Texas-based electric automaker said the recall affects some 2023 Model 3 and 2020-2023 Model Y vehicles.

Tesla said it has not received any reports of crashes or injuries related to the recall.

The company is understood to be deploying an over-the-air update to correct an issue causing the taillights to intermittently fail to come on.

The document came to light following a filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
