Marvel actor Jeremy Renner is in a “critical but stable” condition in hospital after a “weather-related incident.”
The 51-year-old was airlifted to hospital on Sunday after the incident, where he was “ploughing snow”, his spokesman said us media.
The spokesman added that Rainer was with his family and was “well cared for”.
Reno owns a house in the area near Lake Tahoe, according to local news site the Reno Gazette-Journal.
Last month, Renner posted a video of himself drifting through the snow in a 4×4 with the caption: “Monday morning winter prep couldn’t be more fun!! #reno #tahoe.”

Last month, volunteer fire chief Renner appeared on Kelly Clarkson’s show and revealed he was helping build a firehouse in Tahoe.
“I’m actually building a station at my house in Tahoe because that’s a fire hotspot,” he told Clarkson.
“I worked with the fire department there and they were fantastic.
“They’re teaching me, they’re helping me, and I need to spend a few more hours with them.”
