Emmy winner Leslie Jordan was killed in a car crash.
The 67-year-old crashed into a building while driving in Hollywood on Monday morning.
He is believed to have suffered a medical emergency, Variety reported.
The actor, known for his southern accent, has appeared in a number of TV shows, including “Will & Grace” and “American Horror Story.”
A Tennessee native who also starred in the films The Help and The United States vs. Billie Holiday posted videos of herself on Instagram every day during the COVID-19 lockdown.
As his clips, his social media following ballooned from about 80,000 to over 5.8 million, many featuring him talking about his past and using his catchphrase “How are you all?” Go viral.
Earlier this month, he released a gospel album called “Company’s Comin’,” which features Dolly Parton and Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, among others.
He also wrote a book about his life, published last year, titled: How are you all? : Misfortune and mischief in life.

Jordan grew up in Tennessee and moved to Los Angeles in 1982 to start his acting career.
The star revealed that he had been battling drug and alcohol abuse since he was in his 20s, and announced in 2010 that he had been sober for 13 years.
During the AIDS crisis, he was involved with the Los Angeles AIDS Project and the Angel Food Project.
“The world today would definitely be a darker place without the love and light of Leslie Jordan,” his agent David Sol said in a statement.
“Not only was he a huge talent and a joy to work with, but he provided an emotional refuge for the country during one of the country’s most difficult times.
“His generosity and greatness as son, brother, artist, comedian, partner and human makes up for the lack of height.
“Knowing that he left this world at the height of his career and personal life is the only consolation one can take today.”
