A full documentary on Kanye West has been put on hold following his recent anti-Semitic remarks – which his ex-wife Kim Kardashian said was “never good or unforgivable”.
Studio executives Modi Wiczyk, Asif Satchu and Scott Tenley from documentary production company MRC said in a statement on Monday that they “cannot support any content that amplifies its platform”.
The 45-year-old American rapper, who legally changed his name to Ye last year, was also removed by talent agency CAA following the controversy.
Reality star Kardashian, 42, wrote on Twitter and Instagram: “Hate speech is never good or forgivable. I stand with the Jewish community and call for an immediate end to the horrific violence and hate speech directed against them. .”

The artist has made a series of controversial remarks recently.

In a lengthy memo, the three discussed the history of anti-Semitism.
They wrote: “Kanye is a music producer and sampler. Last week he sampled and remixed a classic tune that’s been around for over 3,000 years – Jews are evil, they conspire to control the world for their own gain lie.
“The song was performed a cappella in the Pharaonic, Babylonian and Roman times, with the Spanish Inquisition and the Russian Pale of Settlement, Hitler brought the song to electronic music. Kanye is now helping to make it mainstream in the modern age. “

Earlier this month, West was widely criticized for wearing a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt to his own runway show at Paris Fashion Week.
Shelving the documentary comes after French fashion house Balenciaga and Bank of America Corp. JPMorgan cut ties with the West.
Others in Hollywood — including other members of the Kim Kardashian family — have condemned anti-Semitism.
Some, however, supported the rapper, and over the weekend demonstrators unfurled banners praising the West on flyovers in Los Angeles.
