A source told Action News 4 in Pittsburgh that there were two confirmed shooting victims, two other victims and one at a walk-in children’s hospital. The status of these victims is unknown. In a statement on Twitter, Kennywood said: “The park was closed that night and all guests have left. We are aware of what happened tonight and are cooperating with local law enforcement. The safety of our guests and team members is our responsibility. “This is a top priority. Members of Park Safety, Allegheny County and West Mifflin Police Department are on the scene and responding immediately.” Troops are still at the scene clearing the park. The Allegheny County Dispatch confirmed EMS activity at Kennywood Park at about 10:51 p.m. Saturday. West Mifflin Police are asking people to avoid the park at this time. Allegheny County Police have also confirmed they are responding, but details are very limited at this time. Police said there were no more shootings in the park. Police told Action News 4 reporter Mike Valente in Pittsburgh that several people were trampled in the chaos. The condition of those who were trampled has not been confirmed. As of 11:30 p.m., off Route 837 outside the park, several police and emergency vehicles were seen dispatching staff at Action News 4 in Pittsburgh. This is a developing story.
