Ms Newsom’s attorney, Elizabeth Fagan, said in a statement: “Like many other women, my client was sexually assaulted by Harvey Weinstein at a business meeting that was allegedly a trap.

The initial witness list had more than 270 names, but the final list is expected to have less than half that number. The list has not been made public.
