San Antonio – A man in his 20s was taken to an area hospital early Monday morning after a car crash in the city’s Far North district, according to San Antonio police.
The crash happened just before 2 a.m. on Loop 1604 Drive near Rogers Ranch.
According to police, the male driver rammed his car into the wall of a bridge for unknown reasons. Firefighters had to get the man out of his car, police said.
The driver was taken to University Hospital by emergency medical services with minor injuries. He is expected to recover.
The San Antonio Police Department, San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all answered the call.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said. Investigation is ongoing.
