Tax rebates up to 3,284 cents to Alaskans
This month, Alaskans received direct payments in two forms of cash.
That includes money from a permanent fund that pays residents an annual dividend on the state’s oil profits, as well as a one-time energy relief payment.
The combined value of the assets is expected to be $3,284 this year, according to Governor Mike Dunleavy’s office.
Alaskans who choose direct deposit will begin receiving payments on Tuesday, September 20, and paper checks will be mailed the week of October 6.
In 2021, dividends were paid to approximately 643,000 Alaskans, totaling $1,114 each.
